How we work

Six steps, no fine print. If you have never hired excavation work before, this is exactly what happens.

  1. 01

    You call, we come look

We go to the site with you or on our own, whichever you prefer. We look at three things: how the machine gets in, what is underneath and how much rock there is. In the Hill Country rock is what moves the price most, and you cannot guess it from a photo.

    • No charge, no obligation
    • Usually within 24 to 48 hours
  2. 02

    Written quote

We send you the price in writing with a clear scope: what is included, what is not and how long it takes. If anything could move the price (unexpected rock, rain, an unmarked buried service), we tell you BEFORE, not once we are already in the hole.

    • Detailed scope, not a lone number
    • Committed timeline
  3. 03

    Permits and locates

We handle the city paperwork. We have been pulling right-of-way excavation permits with the City of Austin for years and we know what each department wants. We also call 811 so the buried lines get marked. Digging without a locate is operating blind: you hit a gas line or a fiber and it becomes everybody problem.

    • City permit in our name
    • 811 called before every dig
  4. 04

We come in with the right iron

We bring the machine the job needs, not the one that happened to be free. We own our fleet, so we do not depend on a rental freeing up. If there is rock, the hammer comes. If access is tight, the mini comes. If it has to hit exact grade, it comes with laser or GPS blade control.

    • Our own fleet, no rental waits
    • Experienced operators, not day labor
  5. 05

    We keep you posted

Every machine carries a QR code and the operator reports from the phone: hours, incidents and progress photos. If something unexpected shows up, you hear about it the same day, with a photo, not at the end when nothing can be done.

    • Same-day notice if anything changes
    • Progress photos
  6. 06

We close out and clean up

We repair the pavement to the city standard detail, restore the ground and haul the debris away. The restoration has to pass inspection, and we are the ones who pass it. We do not leave you a pile of dirt and an open permit in your name.

    • Restoration that passes inspection
    • Permit closed out
